Privacy Policy — Tennis AI Coach

Effective date: July 10, 2026

Tennis AI Coach stores your training data on your device. The one exception is the AI video analysis you explicitly start: still frames from your clip are sent securely to generate your coaching report, and are not stored. This policy explains exactly what stays on your device, what leaves it and when, and the choices you have.

No account, no sign-up

The app does not require an account, email address, or login. We do not collect your name or contact details.

Data stored on your device only

The following data is created by you and stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage:

• Practice videos you record or import — the video files themselves are never uploaded
• Coaching reports, scores, and feedback
• Rally tracker sessions and statistics
• Journal notes
• Preferences (your goal, level, completed drills)

Deleting a session or note in the app deletes it (including any attached video file) from your device. Deleting the app deletes all of this data.

AI video analysis

When you start an AI analysis (a Premium feature), the app extracts a small set of still frames from your clip and sends them over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our analysis server, together with your selected stroke, level, and goal. Our server forwards the frames to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your coaching report and returns the result to your app.

• Only still frames are sent — never the video file or its audio.
• We do not store the frames or the report on our server; they are processed to generate your report and then discarded.
• Anthropic processes the frames as an API provider and does not use API data to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• No analysis happens unless you tap the analyze button. Everything else in the app works without sending your content anywhere.

Camera and microphone

The camera and microphone are used only when you choose to record a practice clip. Recordings are saved into the app's private storage on your device. Audio is never transmitted; still frames from a clip are transmitted only when you start an AI analysis, as described above.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app sends a local, on-device notification when your analysis is finished. No notification data leaves your device.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account. To manage subscription status, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives purchase receipt information and a random, anonymous app-generated identifier — not your name, email, or training data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes that affect data leaving your device will be reflected in the app before they take effect.
