No account or advertising profile
The app does not require your name, email address, login, contacts, or partner information. It contains no advertising SDK and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
In short: you can plan a date without creating an identity with us.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your onboarding preferences, recent generated plans, saved bucket-list items, completion status, selected city, daily free-use count, and any gift or date notes you create. This information remains in the app’s private storage. Deleting the app removes it unless your device restores the app’s data from a backup controlled by Apple.
City searches and map providers
Premium users may type a city to find relevant places for a date route. The app sends the city name, a city-center search area, and general search terms such as “museum,” “cafe,” or “dessert shop” to Google Places. The Google Places SDK may process search history, product interactions, performance information, app or device identifiers, IP-derived location, and other technical request information for app functionality and Google service analytics.
If Google Places is unavailable or does not return a suitable result, the app may use Apple’s MapKit service as a fallback. These services return place names, addresses, coordinates, and place identifiers. The app never requests Core Location permission or your device’s GPS position; the coordinate used for place discovery is the center of the city you typed. Google’s Apple privacy manifest nevertheless declares both coarse- and precise-location data categories for the SDK, so those categories may appear in the app’s App Store privacy details.
Google processes Places requests under Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Apple processes fallback searches under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Google place details are used for the current app session and are not written into saved plan history. A saved generic plan can refresh its local route when it is opened again.
Date-plan generation
The released app includes a built-in planner that creates plans on the device. Blue Alpine does not receive your mood, budget, relationship stage, generated plans, bucket-list entries, or notes.
Purchases
Subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. The app uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and determine whether Premium features are active. RevenueCat receives purchase receipt information, an anonymous app user identifier, and limited technical information needed to operate the purchase service—not your date plans, city, bucket list, or notes. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics and advertising
Blue Alpine does not operate a separate analytics service, receive your date-planning activity, display advertisements, sell personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Google may use the limited Places request and technical data described above for its service analytics. RevenueCat uses purchase history for subscription functionality and purchase analytics. Operational events generated by Blue Alpine’s own analytics placeholder are logged only locally during development.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and retention
You can edit or remove saved content in the app. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to device backups controlled by Apple. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat, and Places request data is retained or anonymized by Google, according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the new practice takes effect. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL.
