1. Overview

Longevity Coach is provided by Blue Alpine GmbH (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Blue Alpine GmbH is the controller for personal information described in this policy. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the Longevity Coach iPhone app and this website.

The short version: no account is required. Your profile, daily plans, check-ins, habit history, scores, Wellness Age estimates, and Apple Health-derived insights are processed and stored on your device. We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or track you across apps and websites.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores information you enter or create in its private local storage, including:

  • age or age range, goals, selected healthspan priorities, available time, activity experience, equipment, and limitations;
  • daily energy and recovery check-ins;
  • plans, habit selections, completion history, streaks, training logs, and custom habits;
  • Healthspan Scores, Wellness Age estimates, confidence ranges, data-completeness information, and trend history;
  • notification preferences and local app settings; and
  • a local Premium-status cache needed to show the correct app experience.

This information is used to operate the app, personalize your daily plan, calculate and explain progress, show trends, and remember your preferences. We do not receive this local information. Data may be included in device backups managed by you and Apple according to your device and iCloud settings.

3. Apple Health data

Connecting Apple Health is optional. The app asks for read-only access only after you choose to connect. Depending on the permissions you grant and the information available, the app may read steps, exercise minutes, active energy, workouts, workout heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, cardio fitness (VO₂ max), sleep, body mass, body-fat percentage, and lean body mass.

Apple Health information is read and processed on your device to personalize plans, calculate non-medical scores and estimates, and show trends. Apple Health data is not uploaded to Blue Alpine or RevenueCat, is not used for advertising, and is not sold. The app does not write to, change, or delete information in Apple Health.

You can review or revoke permissions at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps. If you deny access, Longevity Coach remains usable with self-reported information and may show lower data completeness.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple processes your Apple Account and payment details. We do not receive full payment-card information.

The app uses RevenueCat to load subscription offerings, validate purchase status, restore purchases, and grant Premium access. RevenueCat may process an App Store receipt, product and entitlement information, transaction status, device and app information needed for the purchase service, and a pseudonymous app user identifier. This information is used for app functionality, purchase validation, fraud prevention, and support—not advertising. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

5. Notifications and device permissions

Notifications

If you opt in, the app schedules daily-plan and evening check-in reminders locally on your device. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings. We do not use remote push-notification tracking.

Health access

Health access is used only as described in section 3 and is never requested automatically on first launch.

6. Accounts, analytics, advertising, and AI

The current app does not require account registration, integrate a third-party analytics SDK, contain advertising, or use cross-app tracking. Operational analytics events are logged only to the app’s local debug console and are not transmitted to us.

The current release uses an on-device rules engine for plan generation. It does not send HealthKit values, check-in answers, profile data, or habit history to an AI provider. If a future version introduces optional network-based coaching, we will update this policy and the relevant App Store privacy disclosures before that processing begins.

7. This website

This is a static informational website. It does not use account sign-in, advertising cookies, or analytics scripts. Our hosting and network providers may process standard technical logs such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, and security events to deliver and protect the website. Those logs are governed by provider and operational retention settings and are not used by us to build advertising profiles.

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and keep a reasonable support record. Do not email health data or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and you choose to do so.

8. Retention, service providers, and security

On-device app data remains until you delete it in Settings or remove the app, subject to device backups controlled by you and Apple. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their legal and operational obligations. Support messages and essential server logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

Relevant service providers may include Apple for app distribution, Apple Health access, device backups, and payments; RevenueCat for subscription infrastructure; and our hosting and network providers for this website. These providers process limited information for their stated services and under their own privacy terms.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. International processing

Blue Alpine GmbH is based in Switzerland. Service providers may process limited information in other countries. Where required, transfers are handled using appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

10. Children

Longevity Coach is intended for adults and its profile setup supports ages 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Your choices and rights

You can use the app without Apple Health, deny or revoke permissions, disable reminders, export app data as JSON, delete all local app data, cancel a subscription through Apple, or remove the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of personal information we control. Because no account is required and most information stays on your device, we may not be able to identify or retrieve local app information. We may request enough information to verify and respond to a request without collecting unnecessary data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain at this URL with its revised effective date. Material changes affecting information sent from the app will be reflected in the app or policy before taking effect where required.
